Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about learning macramé with CleanWeave Hub.

What materials do I need to start macramé?

For beginners: 4–5 mm cotton cord, sharp scissors, and a stable hanging point (a hook or clothes rack). Optional: measuring tape and masking tape. Our beginner courses include precise cord lengths and alternatives.

How are courses structured?

Each course is divided into small lessons with a checklist and a practice prompt. You can pause any time and return to the exact step. Reflection notes help you internalize technique and rhythm.

Do you offer feedback on student work?

Yes. Selected courses include mentor feedback. You upload 2–3 photos with brief notes; mentors respond within five days with specific, kind suggestions.

What if I have never tied a knot before?

Start with our beginner path. It avoids jargon, shows each knot from multiple angles verbally, and builds muscle memory through short, repeatable drills.

How long do I have access to courses?

You receive ongoing access for as long as CleanWeave Hub operates the catalog. If we retire a course, enrolled students keep access for at least 12 months after the retirement date.

What is your refund policy?

For self-paced courses, we offer a 14-day refund if you have viewed under 25% of the content. Mentor feedback add-ons are non-refundable once a review has begun.

Can I learn without any images?

Our site navigation avoids photos and uses descriptive language only; however, individual course materials may reference diagrams. We provide text-first explanations and accessibility notes.

Do you provide certificates?

We provide completion statements for select multi-course paths. These documents describe skills practiced but do not imply professional licensure.

Are group enrollments available?

Yes, we support small studios and classrooms with volume pricing and shared progress dashboards. Please contact us to outline your needs.
